I agree, we're setting ourselves up to make a pretty good run..LOL..I sincerely hope so..the one thing I'm kind of happy about with the Mularkey pickup is he can give insight on the fast ending to a season, and then the huddles of not living up to those expectations the next year. I hope his advice is something our players will take heed of.

That's what I like to hear from the general manager. I really like the fact that he believes in and enjoys working in Coach Saban's system of player evaluation and draft. Everyone was worried about the two of them working together when Randy was first hired, but, I think this shows that he enjoys working with Nick.

Seems like a passionate, smart, and dedicated guy. The kind of guy i like to see on our team.
 
Just watched the Randy Mueller video on the official site.

Man the more i hear from this guy the happier i get about our personelle decisions! He is one cool customer and seems confident that he and saban are on the same page as far as the kind of talent that we get.Waht a change from the old days ... (spielman wanny)..This team has a bright future and he and Saban are gonna make us contenders for years to come. Go Mueller!

Ben, how did you get on their mailing list?

nice interview, I liked his attitude and demeanor. I also liked his emphasis on "personally" meeting draft prospects, especially qb's. He emphasized his belief in seeing it personally. Now, perhaps, all the "hoopla" over our coaches and staff interviewing these kids will slow down. Every time we visited one there were ten threads about how we were gunna get "this" one, or the "what a waste of time" crowd. I swear, every single thing we see demonstrates just how thorough and dedicated Nick Saban is. The coaching staff he has assembled, who are in his image work ethic wise, the incredible 6 game run at the end of the season, tell me it's all coming together. Faster than I expected too, we have a solid core of players that have bought in and I foresee good things in our future.
