Another RFA option at WR

Justin McCareins

Good Size- 6' 2" 215 lbs, good speed- 17.3 yds per catch, young- 25 yrs old and a good punt returner- 5th in AFC in PR avg w/ a TD

As we know..the Titans are in a world of hurt with cap trouble. If TEN puts the standard tender on him for cap reasons..He could be had for a 4th round pick. If Dennis Northcutt (a similar player)demands too much money, McCareins could be another good option.

What about McCarreins??

This guys had a pretty good year, he torched the phins D. And, he is young. I don't think he would be that expensive, but he could be a solid deep threat #2 WR to keep the pressure off of Chambers. He is a Free Agent from the Titans. Any thoughts?

had DT not been re-signed, yes... but now, no since mcareins would be just like DT in the sense that hes a #3 guy coming in to be a number 2 in a new offense. if dt had left id have brought mcareins in to be our 3 and maybe return kicks as well

Someone will give him decent money, a lot more than what we gave Derrius Thompson last year.

Remmeber when some people here were saying Thompson was a "burner"? hehe

I think he is a RFA meaning we would have to give up a draft pick. I'm not positive though. If so, then NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I agree, but there is no way of knowing now until we get our QB situation settled, i.e.
If the Dolphins do not add either Brunell or Ramsey, they will address their quarterback situation with Henson, in the draft, or with Philadelphia's A.J. Feeley in restricted free agency.
