I think the idea here is that by playing he isn't going to have to pay back that money. At least thats the impression I got upon his return.
 
Ricky is by far the most interesting character in sports...well for me anyway. That guys sound bytes are the best.
 
If we do offer a new contract, we should put the same type of retirement clause in it.

Well he has child support. He has ALOT of kids with all different kinds of women. Thats a nice chunk outta the pocket. Of course when you hit it rich you buy the cars, house, or in Ricky case a tent(had to add that in there) and all that. You can blow it easy if your not careful.
 
Reading all of Ricky's comments over the last couple months it seems like he wants to stay in Miami. I know you can read alot out of it but I think he's pretty happy with the situation. If anything he sure is handling it the right way. I hope he stays, I'd love to see him run next year, he brings so much exitement to the games.
