Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins DL Rodrique Wright (shoulder) does not expect to participate in the team's rookie minicamp due to a torn rotator cuff. "I'll get looked at by the doctors again and figure out exactly what happened and what needs to be done," Wright said.

For 2006 Rod Wright is an afterthought, 2007 is when we expect something....patience.
 
Im no expert but you have thought Wright would know if his shoulder wasnt feeling right? If the kid cant feel any pain when hes dinged then hes going to be a player for us when hes on the field. He can obviously play thru the pain barrier. Hope the guy comes thru the surgery ok and he does the business for us.

Looks like he may "redshirt" this year, if the reports are true...we need to get him signed though.

Ah, you tore something and it needs surgery. Damn, it's not rocket science we're talking. It;s like this guys is denial or something, lol

I think he's confused because he doesn't feel any pain and was lifting more weight with no ill effects. Obviously medical examinations revealed a problem and he was unaware of it. He said he had a problem with the sholder his Junior year so far all we know it could have been this way since then.

Are you the dolphins team doctor? It's not a surprise that he'll miss minicamp, but noone knows exactly what the prognisis is, that's why he needs to see the doctor.

lol, he's seen the fins doctor already! How do you think Saban was able to tell him you slid to the 7th round because you have a torn rotator cuff :rolleyes: Is Saban the team's doctor? Maybe Saban guessed at the injury along with every other NFL team because this kid doesn't know he has an injury and I'm not the fin's doctor....

Read up before getting smart with people.

No but he did stay in a Holiday Inn Express the night before the draft.

I think what is wierd here is that the diagnosis was made at the combine, by the combine doctors. It was shared with every team. Somehow it didn't get shared with Wright and/or his agent. Doesn't make sense.

Also, will he be coming to Miami to see the Dolphin's team doctors or just seeing A doctor? I would hope the former but the article is kind of vague.
