Ronnie Brown & Cadillac Williams are both worth it....

I truly believe Nick Saban drafted the correct back that best fits the long term plan of this Organization.

I also give credit that Gruden saw something and was salivating to get Caddy for TB.

Both backs had major contributions to their teams W and that all you can ask for.

I give both backs credit. I hope most would agree, that its not a question of who is better between them, it comes down to which is best for each organization and I hope no one doubts that each organization received big returns so far.

Glad we have as complimentary a back for our scheme as Ronnie.

I have never questioned Caddy's ability, only his durability. Both may very well be premier backs in this league, but SOOOOO many on here have talked so much junk about Ronnie Brown lately I have found myself having to defend a guy that had played two games. Hopefully after hanging 132 yards on a VERY GOOD defense like Carolina, maybe some fairweather fans will see that both can be great!

Maybe, but it should not be a comparison contest between the two. All that should matter to Miami Fans is whether Ronnie fits our scheme best. And today was a clear indication that he is so versatile that clearly Saban knew exactly the potential that he thought he could maximize. Saban is the only one that needed to do a comparison. He compared Ronnie to every other player in the draft and decided that Ronnie gave him the best options for helping this franchise.

I am excited in what the future holds with this kids talent. He is a great fit for Miami.

He really is a great fit, I have watched him for about 2 years and loved the guy in college. I have watched games, the combine, and anything Ronnie related I could get my hands on and I just have the belief that he will be special.

I agree, they are both real good backs :D

Ronnie ran a lot better today, he hit the holes without dancing in the backfield. He appears to be learning, which is a good thing.

I hope all the "who is better" talk ends soon. Its pointless.

All that matters is "who" best fit the the Miami Dolphins organization and Saban's plans. How can anyone argue that Saban didnt know how fit his plans better? They are his plans!

From what I have seen, I like Ronnie's versatility over any other back who could have been drafted at #2.

Nuff said!

P.S. As far as Cadillac, the boy just produced the 3 best games of any RB in NFL history to start a career. I am not about to say how "untalented" he is, that would only show ignorance. He is utterly amazing and the Bucs are lucky to have him.

I thought that Carnell was the best Back in the draft. But I would have been very happy if Miami took Carnell and we got Brown. Both are going to be very very good. But they're like Lebron and Carmello, they will ALWAYS be compaired to eachother.

The only comparison I look at is 24 mil vs 12 mil... VALUE !!!. Ronnie is not value he is a crap shoot. This guy was a reach at #2.. We could have easily traded down and gotten better at more positions.

Carmelo is not in the same league as Lebron. Not even close...

Versatility huh ? So you would rather have a good blocking pass catching RB than a stud runner of the football ??

Me too..I said before we drafted him that he best fit our organization. Linehan is a master at utilizing his RBs...it'll be really fun with RW back...Brown reminds me a lot of Stephen Jackson of the Rams...big, powerful, fast and can catch...Brown will do fine as time goes on...just like Caddy will too..
