eh. another receiver.

I dont know about this pick. Another WR? And Hartline over Murphy?

Thought they were gonna take a D-lineman but not surprised they took another WR. Hartline has good hands and now our Wr corp have more depth than anything. We do have a good amount of depth at d-line already i.e starks, solia and mcdaniel along with others. I am not Ireland or Parcells and they know more of what the team needs than we do.

Hartline is basically a taller/faster Camarillo/Bess.

Hartline and Turner means that Wilford is gone, and somebody else could be gone as well.

First pick that I really hate. I just do not understand it. I think we all know Wilford is history but we do not have room to keep all these guys.

I'm not sure what direction we're going in here. I really thought Duke Robinson would have been a good pick at that point in the draft...at this point it's undeniable that we have more WR depth than O-line depth

this pick i don't really like right now..... I like that we didnt reach for Britt or Nicks. But we've already taken Pat White and Turner. Hartline looks like a camarillo clone, which is what we hope White can be as a WR.

Ginn
Camarillo
Bess
Wilford
London
Turner
Hartline

Obviously Wilford should be a goner ASAP... but still thats alot of WR's and we spent a high pick on Pat White too !!!!!

Does this imply that Maybe Ginn IS traidbait ?? Or does it imply that Pat White may not be used as a WR as much as we had first thought ? Could Turner be used as a TE ?

One thing I DO know is that this is a vote of confidence for guys like Solai/Cohen and Ayodele/Roth/Wake !! And hey alot of people here wanted to prioritize WR over CB and you knew that wouldn't be the case... You have to be thrilled we got Davis and Smith.... there was an insane run on DB's after we took Smith !!! WR's we're still plentiful in the 3rd/4th range.

I don't watch enough college football to question whether we could have picked a receiver better than Hartline (or any player for that matter). This I think is the 1st pick that I am completely confused about. I knew we could stand to upgrade our WR corp. They're a good group of players, not great, but good and they proved reliable targets for Pennington last season. I figured when we selected Turner that we were going for Wilford's replacement and that Pat White would play a few snaps at WR as well to add more playmaking ability to that group. Assuming Wilford would soon be traded or released, I thought heading into the season with Ginn, Camarillo, Bess, London, Turner, and White (in situational duties) as our wide receivers would be a really good group to work with. Having so many other needs on the board, I can't help but question the logic of this pick. Nothing against Hartline, but I think we now have greater needs than wide receiver. Hopefully I'm wrong and the Trifecta made a good call here.

somewhere in a past thread i mentioned brian and that someone was going to get a steal. Well i guess it was us that got the steal. This guys is always open and always catches the ball. His numbers sucked this past year because ohio state opted to go with a freshman qb that runs the ball 75% of the time. i like this pick.

I liked this guy a lot but he would have been available with our 1st seventh rounder.

This pick is an insane reach. I don't get it.

I dont get it at all. why draft for WR depth at this point? Depth we already have.

Now i can only HOPE we have a plan to fix the holes in this defense through free agency. Because this is getting ridiculous.
