MERGED: Saban to George W.,....I'm busy bro!( Re-opened with non-partison goodness)

yea....and to be clear this is no political thread...this is simply an article i got a chuckle out of and i love the fact that saban is so focused, he would turn down dinner with the president.

that is awesome IMO.

wanny would have traded a 2nd round pick just to go

No No Feeley was worth a second round pick, a dinner with the president must be worth like 4 years of first rounders! Plus Zach Thomas

maybe the mods should just lock this thread....if it can't be taken at face value that saban is too focused with training camp to take time to go out to dinner with the President of the United States (REGARDLESS of who it is), then lock/delete it.
or just move it to SPAM, wink wink Warpie, I'll take GOO care of it down there.

The story is even in VIP. Sheesh.

edit- somebody tell me who hosted the dinner at least

I am happy you are not the GM

You hear people use the term for athletes that they are "genetic freaks" or "freaks of nature". Nick Saban can be described using that phrase in the sense of his coaching prowess/ability. He just doesn't let anything get in the way of his vision.
