I said it before and I'll say it again, Zach will not sign with NE, BUF or NY. He is looking to sign with a contender and NE is not the only contender. He will not sign with the enemy.

NO seems to be a lot of fans second favorite team these days for understandable emotional reasons. Zac'll never have to buy a meal again in the French Qtr if he's in contention for "Comeback Player Of The Year." The type of overreacher he is, and his will to bounce back will really resonate with that area's psyche. Hope he accepts the offer and prospers.

If your contract was terminated, therefore you were released, then you can immediately be signed by someone else.

If your contract simply runs out, then you have to wait for the Free Agent period. This is why Zach Thomas is getting offers now, and why a guy like Rex Hadnot has to wait till Free agency starts.
