Schefter said Calvin Pace would be great in Miami

Adam Schefter just said on NFL network (not sure if this has been posted) that Cardinals LB Calvin Pace would be a great fit in Miami and is the type of Defensive player Parcells loves.

I wouldn't mind bringing him in, still very young, former first round pick....thoughts?
 
Is Schefter just talking into the camera at this point?

I can't see us getting Pace. He's a good player, but we just don't need him right now. Everything he does, Chris Long can do better.
 
I just wonder where this puts our LB corps if we sign him. This would leave us with 3 OLBs (Porter, Pace, Taylor) and 1 ILB (Crowder) starter.

that's IF Pace even pans out. He's been in the league for 5 years, and has a total of 14 sacks. People are making him out to be a sure thing, he's not.

He's got potential....but he's no sure thing.

he played much better this year once he moved from DE to OLB. Smart player that will be relatively cheap, and wouldn't embarass himself. What else can you ask for?

A terrific player who ultimately makes the defense better. Ya know, Chris Long.

And what is this Pace is gonna be Cheap? The Jets, Patriots, Niners, and more have all expressed interest in him. He's gonna come more expensive than people seem to think.
 
He said he would like to sign with the Dolphins, Jets, or one other team that i cant think of the name but i would love it if we got him
