Jason La Canfora is reporting that Sims-Walker, Henderson and Mathis are all INACTIVE for Sunday's game v.s the Fins.

Our chances just got a lot better!!!!

Just saw this. Huge news. Mike Thomas (WR) is a quick, inside kind of guy. They like to run reverses and screens with him. Wonder whether he'll step in for Simms-Walker or whether Holt will move over. Either way, it's huge with for us.

Henderson can't be replaced on defense, as well. He's almost a nose tackle playing DT. Huge, huge, hugely strong man. Wonder what they'll do to compensate.

Mathis, though, has been out for a few weeks. Cox has been playing pretty well, but Brackenridge has a weak overall game and they work hard to disguise him (really, both of them, but mostly Brackenridge) in coverage.

Run Ricky Run.....and Pat White.....you stay on the damn bench!!!!

If those three are out look for alot of runs up the gut....Lex might get a few more carries. But i can also mean no pressure from up the middle so we could throw. Sims Walker is the biggest one for me i know they had a rookie have a big td pass last week but i say put smith on him and Davis on Holt.

I say its tough to say what our game plan is gonna be with mathis out they have a weak secondary and we can throw it alot, they are missing one of their top DT's which means we may be able to exploit the middle of their line.

I am not a fan of fans wishing for injuries...i think that is bush league... but they are part of the game and if the Jags want to be a playoff team they will have to find a way to win without them.

Personally i want to see Henne throw another 40 times but thats because i liked what i saw last week. I think he grew in that game and the week since man he is probably still on cloud 9 and wanting to throw alot.

There is another thread on this topic as well...

Our chance have increases with these injuries, no doubt. Aside from MJD and Garard, those are three of the biggest names on the team and it will affect their gameplan. When we beat them, no fan should not feel like this is a cheap victory because of their injuries. This is football, and injuries are a major part of the game.

There is another part of football that fans don't seem to recognize or give credit too. That part is the front office side of football, and it is up to them to build a quality roster to minimalize the affect injuries will have on their respective teams. Give Ireland, Parcells, and Sparano credit for building a quality roster for us to stay competitive, because some of us have forgotten, we are winning ball games despite major injuries to our team.

We've been hurt as much or more than any other team in the league when you consider who we've lost. Good teams don't miss a beat when star players go down.

Unfortunately, the Dolphins have been known to make stars out of opposing second- and third-team players.

I actually feel pretty good about this game...more so than even the home game against the Bucs. I think we're a better team than the Jags.

we better kick thier *****, no excuses

Just got this from the Jags website....

"Sims-Walker is on the field right now testing his calf along with Rashean Mathis. Inactives are announced at 1130 am."

Sims Walker out is HUGE in this particular matchup. Henderson out is HUGE in this particular matchup. Coverage sacks on Garrard, Ricky being able to run, keeping our offense balanced and hence, their offense off the field is going to be the key.

We're going to keep this game closer than it should be, unless Henning stays aggressive. Just keep passing the ball, Henne should have a big game, their secondary is bad and their run D is great.
