By now, it is widely known that Katina Taylor has filed for divorce after five years of marriage. By now, Dolphins fans ought to trust Taylor and Thomas enough to know they would never allow the situation, whatever it may be, to affect team business.

They have earned that respect. Further, they have earned the right to privacy, safe from day-to-day scrutiny.

An athlete's private life should only be the public's business if that athlete lets something affect the business of winning. Athletes don't owe it to fans to spill personal secrets. Their only obligation, to fans and to employers, is to compartmentalize. That means keeping off-field issues from inhibiting individual effort, or sabotaging the greater common cause.

Great to see some perspective on the matter. These are two of the best players -- in every sense of the word -- in team history. They deserve our confidence, respect, and most importantly, the privacy to deal with this issue. It's a sad situation, no doubt, but not one that I think is helped by fan frenzy or speculation.

Go Phins!

i really love JT and Zach especially because they toured iraq they will always be 2 of my favorite playors and they are a pair !

their probably the two most professional guys on the whole team they surely wont let anything get out of hand from what ive seen from the photos and videos from training camp it doesnt seem to have really effected them at all in the spotlight

I feel for him about the non stop question's on his personal life. When I went threw mine at least when I went to work I got to think about something else. They say anything that does not kill you will make you stronger. Will see.... I hope all of this does not leave the Man bitter.Has been knowed to put a rage in some men.I do expect to see alittle attitude from him in game's this year.Might end up being a good thing for us fan's.

Jason Taylor getting support

Morning Guys....found this article on the Sun-Sentinel today about Jason Taylor's personal troubles that have been exploited by the media which is followed up by some support through this article for Jason's sake. Enough is enough let the guy do what he's supposed to do and win games not get involved with his personal life. At any rate, here it is....

Greg A. Bedard, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins DE Jason Taylor made it clear that his pending divorce from LB Zach Thomas' sister will not affect the team. "To be quite frank, I think it's ridiculous to me why you would think that," Taylor said. "We're professionals, guys."
