MERGED-So much for Brian Schottenheimer

I don't know...

but this infuriates me...I liked the prospect of him being head coach...
Now i think we are looking at Gailey or Mora...and that scares the bejesus out of me.:tantrum:

I don't think so...if so that is awfully big assumption

that Marty is going to be available when he hasn't even been canned yet.

Not an assumption. But you never know. I'd prefer him over Gailey, Mora or Cameron.

Well, maybe not over Gailey. It would be a toss-up between Shotty, Sr. and Gailey. (Should Shotty become available)

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! Why Does Miami Have No Luck!

Gailey scares you?

To each his own I guess. The last time Chan Gailey and Dom Capers were united under the same roof, they got the Pittsburgh Steelers the #1 seed in the AFC at 12-4, and they lost in the AFC Championship to the San Diego Chargers 17-13 in a hard-fought game.

The man has turned chicken **** into chicken salad on offense his entire career.

He took Barry Switzer's disastrous 6-10 season in 1997 and turned it into a 10-6 season, with a division title, the very next year in 1998...despite Troy Aikman missing a full 5-6 games with concussion injuries.

When he got fired from Dallas, I remember the atmosphere at the time very well. Everyone knew he didn't really deserve it, while acknowledging that the Cowboys could have been better during his two years there. The consensus was that he would definitely get a second opportunity...and that actually came into play when it came to Miami's hiring him as offensive coordinator, because there were concerns that he would just be short-timing it here.

I don't mind this move. He has a famous name from his Dad. He needs more experience before taking on head coach.

They're not going to fire Marty!!!! Maybe next year. It's an awesome achievement to have a better record with a new starting quarterback than the year before. They are probably a Ted Ginn Jr. or Dwayne Jarrett away from explosion. Bad Omens are yesterday's new's.
