MERGED: Tannehill introduction vid

I just watched him on the Gruden QB video and he's starting to grow on me. Maybe the new coaches know thier stuff and it's rubbing off on Jeff.

I know he's a real smart kid, with a 34 Wonderlic and parents who are coaches and educators.. and that the national spotlight for the first time can be daunting, but those frequent "you know's" really were giving me Meatball douche chill flashbacks. :idk:

Not too shabby. Much more charismatic and poised than with his Gruden footage. For one thing no "Yes sirs."

He's got proper perspective and we will have to be patient as fans as he makes his mistakes. That's the only way he'll get better, he has to fail a few times. But it sure seems like he can learn from them. Plus taking the gamble on a Qb at #8 is not as prohibitive as it would have been 3 years ago with the inflated rookie salaries. Tannehill was the only choice Ireland could escape this upcoming mediocre season with, let's hope we as fans get lucky on this one.

Yea and Luck comes over like a real geek but who gives a hoot if they can throw a 20 yard out.

Tannehill press conference?

my friend said it was awesome on espn today, i was wondering if anyone had the link to it?

I really can not believe how many people are doubting if he will succeed. I love the kid. All the way from his talent to his attitude and intelligence. I really believe the Dolphins finally have found a franchise QB.

I watched five games of Tannehill and I came away thinking this guy is a Jake Plummer clone. The offense throws tons of short passes mostly outs and short come-back routes. Tanehill throws very poor deep balls most of them hang in the air too long and are not accurate. I'm no expert but, from what I have seen he needs to get faster not 40 faster but just faster setting up and getting rid of the ball faster, he needs to work on his deep ball accuracy and timing and getting the ball there faster, rather than floating it out there. Like I said, I am no expert but I do not see a future Top shelf QB.

MIAMIDOLPHINS.COM has a shorten version on their site. I am sure there is probably one on youtube also.

This is how i feel as well.I really really hope i am wrong about the kid, but i don't see top shelf talent.

I think we finally drafted the right kid. I can't wait to see him on the field. Some doubt that he will be ready to start this year but I think he might surprise us all.
