The "Linehan Effect"

I used to live in Vikes country and was subjected to NFC North games every Sunday...it's easy to say I told you so after the fact, but now everyone can see why MN fans laughed at how excited Fins fans were to get Linehan.

I read these posts every week and I can see that Fins fans are becoming more and more like Vikes fans--you begin to mistrust and maybe even dread trick plays, you're not surprised to see penalties hit at the worst times, you almost assume that the team will blow it in the clutch moments...in general, if the team loses, it's no surprise. If the team wins, it's a bonus. That, my fellow fans, is the "Linehan Effect."

I respect any dissenting opinions, but before you disagree, consider Miami dumping him off to another team with a struggling offense hoping for a jumpstart (say the Texans, for instance). Can you picture yourself laughing and saying "I told you so" after that season? Thought so.

No arguement at this point.

Didn't Minnesotta lose a game last year a Randy Moss Pass!!!!

Linehan sucks!!!!!

Honestly, it wouldn't matter if LT and Shaun Alexander were on the same team. Under Linehan's system, most of their TD's would be receiving. Where did it take MN? Nowhere, and that was with Randy Moss making Scott look like a wise playcaller. SL's system banks heavily on talent--neither Sage nor Gus nor Lemon is a Daunte (at this point), and even though Chambers is a playmaker, he's no Moss. This is the pessimist in me speaking, but what does that tell you about where this season might be going?

RW himself said he didn't like some of the plays. he loved the counter play with the Norv as OC and how linhan doenst have the running plays that are uuslaly affective.

Linehan I thought got it last week. NFL which stands for Not For long. The dude insists on pansy azz puzzy footin. That is not how you play football. Scot Linehan is our biggest Problem!

Play Sage, go ahead, first off, it wont happen. Linehan has his guy there to puzzy foot with. If he puts Sage in and looks bad, then the focus turns to him. Please someone! Take him as your HC! But hell, he cant even OC let along coach an entire football team. my god. This sucks.

Then again, Nick Saban knows more about football than any of us do, so maybe there is a greater plan in the works. Who knows, though

Saban doesnt care about this year. That is what I see. He will sort things out as he goes. Did anyone notice the FB #36 blocking most of today? those are Nick Saban moves. Nick will continue to build with the notion that this year is a wash. so hey! Lets just run double reverses so next year teams have nothing to study! :fire:

Ya right.
Minnesota's offense was their problem.
Honestly, what is your problem?

Mark my words, gentlemen: By the end of the season, you will be watching the upper right-hand corner of your TV screen for the word "FLAG" when we break a big play for a TD. Then you'll know that the "Linehan Effect" has officially been installed in Miami. I'm not meaning Scott is the reason for the penalty, I'm just saying that this will be the mindset of even the most loyal Fins fans. I'm hoping to be wrong on that prediction, but we'll see

well if it isn't linehan's fault for getting a holding call or false start, explain to me what that has to do with him?
