If released I would bet all my fin dollars he will be in a Dolphins uniform next year. Here ia our new additon @ wide reciever.

Regardless of the incompetence of Raider nation (management and fans), what would lead us to believe he is getting released? No link, no second thought. Thats how it works

RAIDERS TO RELEASE RONALD

Posted by Mike Florio on February 18, 2009, 10:46 a.m.
The Oakland Raiders will soon be parting ways with one of the only wideouts on the roster with any significant experience.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Raiders are expected to release receiver Ronald Curry.
Per NFLPA records, Curry was signed through 2011, at a base salary of $3.5 million this year. Per Schefter, the net cap savings will be $2.3 million.
Schefter also points out that the Raiders will save $7.2 million in cap space if they dump tackle Kwame Harris.

It's speculation on Schefter's part.

ronald curry in a phins uniform would be nice.... hes from my hometown... hes such a good athlete.... basketball and football in college... (not that it matters in the nfl) but why not give him a shot.... hes athletic and if you watch videos of him... he makes some nice catches and actually goes after the ball... if we give a contract to ernest wilford for what he was worth... ronald curry should be a nice pickup

He was Released saw it on NFL Network Jerry Porter was released as well but he is rumored to be going back to Oakland. I just want to draft a wide out problem solved we do not need to sign a vet.

I will take that bet. There is no reason to bring him to Miami. He adds nothing to the receiving core we already have. He would be this years Wilford. In fact, I would rather have Wilford.

This is a topic that has me tetering.....on one hand you cant deny his talent and lets face it the Raiders didnt have the most regimented structure. Would Miami bring out the best in him? On the other hand is he THAT guy who wont conform to strict processes and work hard...I am going to side with the latter.
