Hey guys, I mentioned this as a possibility last week, but I can now confirm 100% that the full NFL schedule will be released on April 5. This is per my source within the league.

Also, the primetime opening weekend games (Thursday night opener, Fox National 4:15 Eastern game, Sunday night, and Monday night game(s)) will be revealed during the owners meetings next week. My source, could not confirm whether or not there will be one or two Monday night games to open the season.

I can tell you this though about the games revealed next week, rumors are going around within the Colts organization that they will play the Saints in Indy the opening Thursday. Also, the Dolphins have a "strong" possibility to play Dallas in the opening weekend in that Fox 4:15 game; although there are three other games being considered for that spot.

I will keep you guys updated if I here anything new.

I'll be going to our home opener this year and if it's Dallas we play, then I say we kick their Cowboy a$$es back to Texas.

I was hoping for the Raiders or Giants though

Aw man I thought the dates were set lol. I had a feeling that it was an official date for the official date. Thanks for the heads up.

As previously announced, Dolphins will play the Giants in London around week 8 or 9, so it definitely won't be the Giants in the opening week.

An interesting stat, the Phins have not opened against a division opponent since 1998 (at Indianapolis [Peyton's first game btw]). So it stand to reason that since they will almost certainly be at home (as per the thread a week ago digesting the Marlins schedule) we can ASSUME that the opponent will be either Dallas, Oakland, Baltimore, or Cincy.

Oh yeah, and you guys are welcome.

Thanks for the info B. Sebo. Man, if we get Dallas week 1, that'd be sweet. Kinda smells like that Denver matchup 2 years ago.

Well Crypt I do apologize, I did not realize that this info was available online. As for other threads, I gave the April 5th date last week in the Marlins schedule thread but it went ignored. This was also unconfirmed at the time. Also, I did a quick search and there didnt seem to be any established thread that gave all of this info. I do not post often, but I have been around long enough to know when to post my info or not. Remember, I brought the updated unis for Miami/San Diego first.

I noticed that too. Last year the Pats played the Bills and I've always wanted to play one of them in week 1 but it never seems to happen. I would like to get a national TV game in week 1, that'd be awesome.

Part of Schedule Announced

The NFL announced a few national TV games for the upcoming season today. You can see it here.

The Dolphins don't have any of the national TV games for opening weekend or for Thanksgiving. I know some of you were hoping for the Thanksgiving night game, but that goes to Atlanta (blah).
