New England's pursuit of a backup defensive lineman is now focusing on Vonnie Holliday.

Holliday is taking a free-agent visit with the Patriots on Monday, one source told FOXSports.com. FOXSports.com first reported last week that New England also was courting free agent Kevin Carter in at attempt to bolster its line rotation behind starting ends Ty Warren and Richard Seymour.

Why shouldnt he. Teams have no loyalty to players. He should do whats best for him. I perform u cut me but u keep Wilford then sign Grove a career under achiever to a big contract.

under achiever is a tad bit much,dont you think?

I mean,come on....name me a player on that team that was actually drafted and used correctly,other than Asomugha & Miller.

Grove had some injury issues,but it definately had nothing to do w/ his career as a whole.....the Raiders are ran by idiots...plain and simple...
 
Holliday to visit Patriots

According to theredzone.org Vonnie Holliday could potentially go to the Patriots. If this happens, do you all think he still has enough in the tank to be disruptive when playing the Fins?
 
It's possible, he's a good player, however I'm curious why he's not been picked up by anyone since his release?? Maybe some under the radar injury we are not aware of or he's lost too much speed and quickness??
 
serves us right if he does sign there. we never should've cut him.
 
The Pats like our players because they get info from them.
