Never Heard So Many Excuses

I'm watching the game on CBS and I can't believe what I'm hearing from the announcers. They seem to be making an excuse every play for Frerotte. If he throws a horrible pass to a wide open Chris Chambers, it must be his finger. Or it's the pressure. I know the pass blocking hasn't been great, but with the opportunities we've had on offense, there is not reason why we shouldn't have two touchdowns. The announcers keep on mentioning Frerotte great arm. I've only seen evidence of that a couple times this year. Thank god Frerotte hasn't killed one of our receivers yet with an inaccurate pass.

It's not all on Frerotte today, but as usually people want to lump it all on him. It would be nice if the O-Line could pick up a blitz. Frerotte is getting hit everytime he drops back.

It's ridiculous..

No he isn't...is he part of the solution though ? I think even Saban understands that he is not.....now can he convince Scott "I want to marry Gus" Linehan that we need to look elsewhere for a QB for next season ?

Do OC's have any say in FA pickups and the draft? I doubt very much.

If you read my post, you would have realized I'm not blaming all on him. I said the pass protection hasn't been great. But the bottom line is Frerotte has not been making good throws.

You doubt that the reason Gus is a Dolphin...is because of Linehan? really?

Would you rather see Sage again? I think we've all seen enough of him.

Pick up a QB this offseason? Fine that's great and dandy.. but, how the hell does that help us RIGHT now? Gus is currently the best we got, and he gives us the best opportunity to be successful in the passing game..

I am sure that both Saban and Linehan would love for Gus to be our backup for an all-pro QB. Truth is Gus is all we have right now, so as the saying goes, gotta dance with the one that brought ya...

Oh I forgot, he's had all the time in the world to make his reads and then step into his throws... Gimme me a break.

Im just curious how we pass 24 times and run only 15 in the first half and we know we can run on this defense.......

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NICK, BUY AND F'N CLUE

And for Gods sake someone at least try and cover Evans

if you're saying he's not the lone problem, you might be right... but he most certainly is a big PART of the problem... all season...

so please don't be one of those drones who takes any and all blame away from our "starting quarterback"
