"Tom Brady always plays well against the Dolphins"

If you look at today's Sun-Sentinel, in the section with those little matchups for every team in the NFL, it states in the dolphins one..."Tom Brady always plays well against the Dolphins"

Do these people even pay attention to what they're saying, or is it just filler?

The Dolphins are one of the teams that traditionally gives Brady PROBLEMS....(he even had 2 intereceptions against us last time we played, which was a pretty good game for him)

Brady even admitted it himself that the Dolphins give him problems....

Journalism like this makes me angry.

That Monday when we came back and won, Brady made some very stupid throws. Surtain is the one he hated I think, so he may be better this time

he may be, but the fact that they wrote he ALWAYS plays well insinuates he dominates us everytime when in fact it is quite the opposite

I know its silly, but do you ever notice in Madden, when you check the local papers they seem to always pick the other team against Miami in the upcoming game???

Yeah, that's kind of funny. He struggles the most against the Fins. Brady has even gone on record saying that before. Anyone can be a journalist now-a-days. All you need is blog, and then you can call yourself a journalist.

I dont think JT is top of his xmas card list either. Brady just doesnt like our D period. Our D will once again give him a headache if he plays long enough.

hahaha, yeah I did notice that in madden...and i won the superbowl that year and had a 14-2 record! and they talk about how a 4 win team was playing better than me....crazy *******s

h/o i wrote an article about this in pre-season...

Statistics show that Tom Brady has historically had some of his worst games against the dolphin’s defense. To put it in perspective I have compiled Tom Brady’s career stats (up to last week) and then compared them with his all-time stats vs. the dolphins. The statistics showed a dip in every single category when they are compared to his career numbers.

Tom Brady Career vs. Tom Brady vs. Dolphins

Completion %: 61.9%- 56.3%= -5.6%

Yards per attempt: 7.02/ 5.84 = -1.18 yards

TD per game avg: 1.51/ 1.375 = -.135 TD’s

INT per game avg: .81/ 1 = +.19 int’s

QB Rating: 88.1 / 74.74 = -13.36 points

Win % vs. all teams= 73.9%

Win % vs. Dolphins= 62.5%

Avg times sacked per game: 1.99

Avg times sacked by Dolphins: 2.25

This conclusively shows that Tom Brady struggles against the Dolphins defense. He completes less passes, Passes are for smaller amounts of yardage, He throws less TD’s, and more INT’s. His Qb rating is lower, his win percentage is lower, and he is sacked more. This is not a slight against him, but it shows that he requires more team support to win against Miami. Take it as you will, cause this just wasted a lot of time, and that was the whole point.

The only question I would have isif you pulled the Dulphins numbers out of the career numbers. If not, than his numbers would look even more lopsided.

i left his career numbers alone. those are all raw. Then i compiled all his stast vs the fins... I'll update them to include his career numbers this year and his other game against the fins later on tonight...

Thats fine. I just think to further prove your point you could subtract all the stats of the Miami games to see his numbers against the rest of the league. Right now, the Miami numbers are bringing down his career numbers. I would be interested to see just what he does against the rest of the league sans Miami.

Either way is fine with me. You more than proved your point and I am way too lazy ( on my day off ) to do it myself!
