TUNA IN TROUBLE?
We've got no real strong feelings one way or the other about Dolphins V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells. But we've noticed over the past few months that his apparent zeal to turn around a franchise that has figured out how to be consistently mediocre in the free-agency era (Dan Marino's presence masked it for much of the '90s) has caused the Tuna to create the appearance that he isn't respecting one or more of the rules that apply (in theory) to all 32 teams.

That's utter BS, if I am gonna drop 30 mil on a guy I should be able to get video of his play from the college he went to. What a stupid rule.

Im sure parcells is not the only one to do somethings like this. Its a shame but its sports these days. Im sure nothing will happen to him

Why the hell would he call ...cant he get the videos on his own ? I think they need more headlines..

I can't really say anything about this because I'm no famaliar with these NFL rules but it seems that the Pats and other teams do the same thing and nothing is done so why would Parcels be in trouble? just more BS for the media to talk about like they were so sure that JT was being traded just a few days ago

As long as we don't lose the pick then who cares..honestly who figures out if Parcells calls a guy or not? Does he have a camera on him?

Bottom line is that Matty Ice will be the Dolphins No.1 pick. With Jason Taylor not going anywhere you can cross out Chris Long. The tuna wants to see all his passes so he can make a complete evaluation like he should before he selects Matt Ryan. If at the end of the day he does not like what he sees and takes Chris Long or Jake Long I am fine with that. I also like Chad Henne with the 32nd pick.

this should be interesting to see the reactions of Dolfans on this forum. especially since 100% of us are Patriots haters and LOVE calling them cheaters and such. Myself included. if this in fact is a rule, and Parcells in fact violated that rule...that makes our franchise cheaters as well...

bring on the interesting comments!

they won't do squat.....obvious signs of tampering and the such are all over the place and the league never does anything. But PFT somehow thinks it's always a story.

I really enjoy the site, but the way they ***** and moan constantly about tampering really gets under my skin.

Why would we draft Matt Ryan? We just drafted John Beck and Brian Brohm, Chad Henne, and Joe Flacco wil stil be there by our 2nnd second round pick. I think we will get Chris Long, Taylor is a year from retiring so we will need to make sue to keep a good DE for years to come and Long is a beast.

I dont see how anyone could possibly see this as cheating. Lets move on.

The rules are the rules regardless of whether you like them or not.

Why would the TUNA want to see all of Matt Ryan\'s passes at Boston College if he were not seriously considering drafting him No.1?
