Merged: USC @ Notre Dame

USC is a very good 2nd half team and they get the ball first. ND needs to stop em and get the ball back to set the tone for the 2nd half.
 
they're not a great 2nd half team as much as they're a poor 1st half team, making dumb mistakes and such (like 8 penalties in the first half against ASU). the way notre dame controlled the clock in the 1st makes me feel it's not just another game for USC. this will be very tough
 
I agree. It occurs to me that sc played as good as they could, ND just didn't let them do any better. I would expect ND to NOT be "overwhelmed" in the second half.
 
ND is playing alot better than I expected. They're backing up their talk..

The positive thing is that one of these teams is going down today, whomever it may be.

Lots of good stuff on TV right now. The SEC battle down in Baton Rouge is turning out to be a good one, and the Astros/Cards game is turning into a duel.
 
He should've held onto the ball a whole lot better then that.
