Free agent OT Courtney VanBuren (Chargers) recently visited the Miami Dolphins and took a physical. The Dolphins offered VanBuren a one-year contract, but he declined.

I vaguely remember this guy being picked in the 3rd round by SD a few years back. He's huge but was supposed to go much late rin the draft.

Well at least we know the front office acknowledges we still need more & better O-Linemen on this team. Hopefully, we'll be able to add another guy or two before the draft.

Free agent OT Courtney VanBuren (Chargers) has been cleared by doctors to work out after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament last year. VanBuren weighed in at 366 pounds with 20 percent body fat.
 
why a 1 year tho if he is good? doesnt he play lT tho? and maybe miami is looking to go with a draft pick up thats why a 1 year? maybe cuz of alabi? who knows
 
He is nothing special, I think he has been in the league 3 years, has had injury problems, and has started 7 games or so.

No real loss, probably just would have signed him cheap to see what the kids got.
 
Don't know enough about him to have an opinion, but personally I'm more concerned about upgrading our interior line than our tackles.

You know Skeet there has to be other free agents out there that we are not speaking of. Saban must know something, you know.

366 @20% wow, that's actually pretty impressive. Not the leanest guy but, by no means is this guy a tub of lard.
