Breaking news on NFL network deal final tommorrow, I guess JT is next

Chiefs Trade DE Allen to Vikings

Just came over NLFN wire.

I guess that ends that discussion.
 
no terms as yet, but could give us a ballpark idea of the DE market.

JT will be worth quite a bit less, but an idea nonetheless....
 
Great. Now the JT talks can heat up and we have a few days to see what the max we can get out of him is. Im still hoping we can get enough to package the picks to trade back up and get Matt Ryan should Stl. pass on Dorsey(Atlanta will take Dorsey) and then Baltimore be dumb enough to pass on Ryan, he will be there to trade up and get before Carolina or Chicago selects him.

If we get lucky and get a 1st from somebody we can use it on Brohm or Henne, or use the picks we get to package them and get up there to get one of those guys in the late first round. Were gonna need to because by trading JT we also need to use that pick #32 on Groves.

Truthfully, I would give up next year's 1st round pick, JT, and the #32 pick for Matt Ryan....wait a minute:unsure:...yeah, I would...:wink:
 
actually, i think that a good enough OLB will be there at #57, like lawrence jackson, plus i believe they worked out a few other guys.

also, joey porter can start at ROLB.

Wow, I really hope that's a joke...

We could very well have a top 5 pick next year... and the number 32 pick is essentially a first rounder. So you're saying you'd give up 2 first rounders, and JT for Ryan... lol... GOTTA be a joke.
 
Its for the 1st and 3rd this year and the second next year
