I don't think the Dolphins would of accepted the trade if we didn't include Booker at the time. It's a shame because it seems like his heart isn't in the game like it was in Chicago. Who knows what kind of numbers he would have this year in Chicago. He was always one of my favorites. Now we are dealing with egomanics like Lance Briggs, thats wants more millions then we offered so he can have 10 houses instead of 8.

Keep ya head up Booker, you have good fans also in Miami and you never know what will happen next year. Your team is hurt this year and your teams talent is promising. Who knows, maybe you'll be a Bear again. Just know we still think of you as a Bear faithful. Keep tearing it up though, no matter where you're at.

Well I don't think Booker got an extension to his contract yet so he is likely to be traded soon. I'm sure that has alot of bearing on why his heart just isn't in it. You guys could probably get him back this offseason. Maybe we trade him for Briggs?

Booker did not want to leave Chicago. He has whinned since he has been in Miami and he hasnt been been that effective on the Dolphins team although he has probably more YACs than any other WR on this team.

His contract becomes unbearable next year and I expect he wont agree to renegotiate so he will probably be cut loose and end up on the Bears team again. You never know.

IMO Hagan was drafted to replace him.

BTW IMO you got the better end of the deal when we traded Wale for Booker and your third round pick.

You can pick him up after we cut him in the offseason....too bad it didnt work out.

I hope he becomes a Bear again. There aren't that many players in the league that appreciate their team like Booker did. I think the Bears organization disapointed him though, I doubt he would come back out of spite. He is a solid reciever but you can't play to your potential if your not happy on game day.

I would trade Briggs for a 2nd and Booker in a second. So if we get to the Superbowl his greedy self can sit and watch and pine. Then he would realize what type of person he is.

Dear Chicago Bears,

Can you please send Lance Briggs over here? We'll gladly give you back Marty Booker...oh and if u wanna add Olin Kruetz even tho u just offered him 3 more years, thatd be appreciated. We have a very solid, talented (at powderpuff) guy in the name of Tavares Tillman who we'd also love to ship to you in exchange for Mushin Muhammed. We'll even be nice about it and send you Ricky Williams, but you'll have to go thru Canada to get him since the silly Canadians kidnapped him...thus prompting Bush to send troops to Canada.

You know what...how about u send us ur whole team in exchange for our whole team. We promise not to beat you this week if you do...in basketball.

Sincerely,
A Disappointed Dolphins Fan.

PS...we're keeping our cheerleaders..

You can have Briggs for a second and Booker. Then you can pay him 65 million for 5 years. He will be a solid player for you but he is overated and you will see this on Sunday. He gets a lot of tackles but he misses some too. He is selfish guy and that's why we stopped all contract talk with him. Our GM doesn't even want him on the team next year, he isn't a Bear guy.

Draw up the papers and lets do this.

wow

Nah I was just kidding about the trade man, Briggs is a FA next year no need to trade. I do think we will be trading Booker in the offseason though, not sure for who or what.

in fact you can take booker now. i'd help move him to chicago tonight if i could.

hahaha

I feel you, I'd feel the same way if I was a Miami fan.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. The misconception is that the Phins traded Ogun for Booker and a 3rd rd pick that turned out to be Lamar Gordon. That is untrue. The 3rd rd pick used in the trade was used to draft Channing Crowder. So, in essence it was Ogun for Booker and Crowder. The Phins got the better deal.
Ogun is not a star player, he's a complimentary player. His stats are only good when he's playing opposite a star player like JT. He's a good player, but he's not this all world player some of you make him out to be.
