Merged: What am I missing here? Why is Daniels on Moulds?

its all in the defense thats called...very few teams match up man-man on the best wr anymore with your best cb..unless its a t. owens, or randy moss, or marvin harrison...its schemed man..you would think it would make sense to lock him(moulds) with madison, but thre truth is lee evans is a much BIGGER threat at this point in their careers...moulds is at best a possesion/chrebet type wr now...evans is their play-maker(sorry mike irvin, i used that term)...LETS JUST GET A WIN!!!!!

Who else could have covered him. Not Dolly Madison who stinks it up big time. Not Ron Howard either.

Who is #35 Jackson??? This guy just signed on and he deserves to start??? He got destroyed early on! That's B.S., your best CB should match-up w/ their best receiver.

Well the way I see it (which means absolutely nothing), Evans is quicker then Moulds and Daniels is quicker then Madison. Madison and Moulds both have better awareness. So, it seems that Daniels should match up with Evans and Madison should match up with Moulds.

some please explain to me................

.................why Daniels was covering Eric Moulds, espcially when the Bills scored the second time? other than that he layed well but still its not the smartest thing to do, putting a rookie on an all pro wideout.

What better way to learn I guess. Even with Madison there I wouldnt feel too confident. Did you notice who slipped on his coverage for that first big Buffalo play by Lee Evans for 59yds, GOOD OL' #25 REGGIE HOWARD :fire: .

Are you sure that wasn't #35 Jackson? Either way Reggie actually had an impact in the second half and I'm not putting this one on him.

Thought it was Reggie, could have been #35. And Reggie did come up with a sack in the second, still, it hurts to have some a shaky secondary after years of putting out a great secondary.
