QB Starter in '06?

Who is it going to be? How hard will it be to get Brees from the Chargers and are they even going to be willing to deal him? I cant see giving a 1st for Brees or Rivers. What about getting Kitna from the Bengals and drafting someone to play behind him for a year... Brady Quinn, Jay Cutler, Vince Young? I seriously dont want Joey Harrington or Kurt Warner. We all know the draft prospects but what are some of the veterans that are going to be available that we will realistically look at?

Danny Wuerffel

I can definitly see us drafting somewhere around #7 or 8 and trying to trade up for Leinart..think about it,
we'll have the cap money...Houston isn't getting rid of Carr no matter what anyone says, they are gonna draft D'brickshaw and San Fran is grabing Bush...after that, no way Green Bay drafts a QB, not only one year after drafting one in the first round.
New Orleans is a possibility but i'm sure they'd rather have Hawk from Ohio St.
Arizona is goin F.A., they want to win now...Brees?
the jets are ready to give up on Chad yet
Baltimore probably will shape up and finish with a better record than us
same with Oakland
then there is Tennesse, if they pick before us, they'll def draft Matt
but lets say somehow we do draft him, I think Kitna would be a great one year fix, and as we've seen, he def knows how to groom QB's for USC

which one of the 4 is going to be our QB in 2006?

1. Matt Leinart, QB, Southern California: He would have been the first player picked in this year's draft. Barring an injury, he's the top player next year.

7. Vince Young, QB, Texas (Jr.): This may seem high for him, but he came on strong late last season and has wonderful tools. Won the Rose Bowl MVP with a sensational performance. At 6-5, 230, he has a strong arm and wonderful feet.

15. Charlie Whitehurst, QB, Clemson: The son of former NFL quarterback David Whitehurst, Charlie has a big arm and can make all the throws.

19. Omar Jacobs, QB, Bowling Green (Jr.): Another quarterback with good size (6-4) and the athletic ability to make people respect his feet. Jacobs really came on strong last season and should move his way into the first round next April.

I think we should use a 2nd or 3rd on a QB

use the first on the BPA

2 of them may not even come out im gonna have to say none aswell

None of the above!

I love the draft and fa cause its exciting but the 2 threads a day about next years qb is getting insane. Its repetitive and purely speculative
