MERGED-Who will Replace Culpepper on the Roster?/He is on IR

Its a shame, but everyone had to see it coming. He said we wanted more QB depth though, so I bet we sign a QB to take his roster spot.
 
Well, it definitely wasn't the season we hoped for from Daunte, but all is forgiven if he can come into camp next year at 100% . . . . if he is still limping around and unable to perform at the level expected, then I think we gotta scrap the Pep Project. I really want him to come back full force tho.
 
Well, they gave him more time than most coaches would have. Hope it leads to a healthy Pep in 07.

because Minnesota, nor any other team, is going to want a limping, injured QB. Only Miami makes those bad decisions.

I think they filled it with a Robert McCune linebacker off of Washington's practice squad.
 
Well, I guess the good news is Cpep's rehab won't be rushed again, and a roster spot just opened up for a young player - from our practice squad, another team's PS or street FA.

i am waiting. who knows how long that will be. right now, it was the worst offseason move in the NFL last year. it paid 0 dividends and it was supposed to be "the" thing that propelled them into Super Bowl contention. Instead, it resorted them to a laughingstock of the league for virtually the first two months of the season. I will never not be bitter about him starting this year if he knew he wasn't 100%. I do hope he recovers, and maybe he plays well here for a a few years, maybe he doesn't. But I'll never not be mad about the whole situation.
