wow I had a really different impression of Boston

All the media hype combined w/ the legal trouble really made this guy seem like an a hole, but after watching the Insider interview I have to say I think I was wrong. He seems actually concerned about not making the team. Hopefully a sign of good things to come.
 
David Boston Is A Changed Man?

man maybe it's just me but i just listened to david boston press conf. on the maimi dolphins insider and this kid is a diffrent guy.he talks about being worried that he might not make the team that he has alot of anxiety because of it.one media guy said daivd what makes you think that you might not make the team you have been the best wr this preseason your kidding rite he just seems a like humble guy on a mission i love it...... ;)
 
Let's Just Hope He Stays That Way Once The Season Starts.
Chances Are He Wont Have More Than 45 Catches Since He's Ths Slot Reciever, And With Ricky-brown Combo.
 
id be happy if he could slip 6 touchdowns into those 45 catches

as long as he makes a big play here or there and stretches the field im happy with his production
 
He went through a lot of adversity since his almost forgotten ProBowl days. Last year everyone was raving about him in camp and saying he was doing everything he could to get back to being a solid NFL player. Then he blew out his knee and had to sit out... I'm sure that was an extremely frustrating and humbling thing to go through.

And then came the thing that made me really believe that he was a changed man.... the birth of his baby. Kids can make you grow up and learn a new level of respect and responsibility real quick (doesn't do it for everyone, of course, but it sure does for a lot of people). Those of you that have kids can attest to that, I'm sure. Those that don't will just have to take my word on that until you do ;) .

Since then there has been no negative feedback about him that I've heard of. He really seems to be humbled and committed to working hard and helping the team.

I tend to think of production in yards, not TDs or catches. My benchmark has been 500 yards, and I see no reason to move it up.

As to Boston's change in attitude, I really hope it is the case. I have been down on him for his behavior in the past, but it's not like I hate the guy. It's more that I want him to show me he won't be up to things he has done in the past and that he is ready to play the game again. He has just as much leeway in my mind as Ricky does to show me those things. I'll still be skeptical about those knees, but I'm always skeptical about them. I'm worried about that LB wunderkind of ours, too.
 
Well if Chambers keeps dropping balss like he has in the preseason, Boston may see himself moving up the depth chart. IMO, he should start ahead of Marty Booker as it is now anyway.......We'll see what happens.

Yes let's demote our only proven receiver who constantly demands a double team even though he has labored under the worst offensive gameplanning for the past two years, and replace him with someone who has not played a full season in three or four years, all because he has dropped a few balls during games that do not matter. :shakeno: Boston is more of a threat in the slot and needs to prove that he can consistently stay healthy before the team counts on him for anything.

Chambers + Moss' old system = Moss-like numbers!
