Nice read thanks for posting.

I really thought we could develop Cedric Thompson into a Chris Clemons type but that never happened

Really like how gase listens to the players

Goes a long way in the locker room

I like Lippett and Ajayi. McCain baffles me, the guy gets beat way too much. And I thought post draft he was gonna be good for us. TedSlimm loved him and I think hoops did too. Maybe he needs time

Its bad when ones picks in the 5 th round outshine 2 nd rounders for the better part of 15 years.

How Miami Dolphins parlayed 2015 fifth round into three solid contributors

Even the most serious football fans might get a little glassy-eyed by the time the fifth round of the NFL Draft rolls around, because by that point, the draft is the epitome of a crapshoot, with the odds against finding long-term gems, as Miami did over the years with Zach Thomas and Bryan Cox and Reshad Jones.

But during one 40 minute stretch on the third day of the 2015 Draft, the Dolphins plucked three fifth-rounders who are playing a lot: Bobby McCain (who’s becoming a capable slot corner), Jay Ajayi (only the fourth player in NFL history with consecutive 200-yard rushing games) and Tony Lippett (who’s starting but must play better, according to his defensive coordinator).

Had it not been for the knee issue, Ajayi would have been a late 1st rd-early 2nd rd pick. He didn't have a 5th rd grade based on his physical ability and college career.
