Edgar Thompson of the Palm Beach Post wrote on his Twitter account Saturday morning that Roth was placed on the reserve/PUP list, which means he's ineligible to practice or play with the team for the first six weeks of the season.

Roth has missed the entire preseason because of injury. By placing him on the non-football list, the Dolphins could use him after the sixth game of the season.

He doesnt want or didnt want to work hard to compete against Taylor for only 600k. KNowing he was going to have to work thru an grown pull or tear. so it boils down to money. Someone whispered in his ear that his feet are worth 2 Million and make damn sure he gets healed. Dont play for no less than 2 million and risk the future.

Agree, it is getting real old. I am no doctor but I would think if it was that bad, he should have had surgery. I didnt think it took over 5 weeks for a groin to heal. Actually, didnt we send him to a specialist and the specialist said it was fine? Now we are at a minimum of 11 weeks with the PUP. Something hasnt smelled right from the first day of camp.

Great point. Can you imagine us asking Wake or one of these guys to start. I like our potential at linebacker, but it is just that, potential. JT gives us a pro bowl caliber OLB!
