Wow. I really hope he plays well for the Phins. Living here in Vancouver and watching him the past 2 years, and now seeing him as a Phin, pretty exciting. If used correctly, the guy will provide some pass rush. btw, note his weight in that story for all you who kept arguing he was 241.

So how do we use him? Specifically the WOLB in a 3-4? Or move him around like Joey Porter?

Hes a pass rushing demon, so let him rush the passer. Dont ask him to cover. He will play the run as well, and has a motor that wont stop. I see him as good depth, a guy that can come in and give Joey and whoever else they have at olb a rest. Ill tell you this, when you guys see him on the field, you will see just how un athletic Matt Roth really is at olb.
 
Gotta believe this is a good move. Parcells isn't usually wrong about OLBs
 
For that kind of contract I'm pretty sure we got ourself a stud. I don't know much about the guy but I have 100% trust in our front office.
 
sweet. our LB corps just gained a lot of speed and athleticism. hope the hype is true, this guy has the raw skills and tore up the CFL.

wake and london at WR could turn out to be some great scavenging by parcells and ireland. will be pulling extra hard for them in '09.
