Your offseason priority list

here is my top 5 things Miami should do this offseason:

1. Resign Ricky Williams. We will not get value in trading him this year and Ronnie and Ricky enjoy playing together and Ricky is still young enough to produce. The results have proven that. We need to rework his deal and keep him here. 3 year, 10 million dollars with incentives written all over it.

2. Draft QB. I would like them to land Cutler or Young but any QB in the draft will do. They have to build one from scratch like we did with Marino. I think he turned out ok?

3. Find young quality defensive players, either through draft or FA. Always a great defense but they have to get younger. We have good young LB's, we need to get younger up front and in the secondary

4. Have the entire team there for spring camps. The more committment we get and start playing as a team sooner, the better we will get.

5. Get a Fullback. I would like to get someone that will provide lead blocks for our backs. Look at the success of the bengals, chiefs, chargers and seahawks. Get a good fullback that will be great outta the backfield and provide blocking. aka rob konrad

What are your top 5 things?

1.- keep ricky
2.-keep ricky
3.- try to keep all your coaching staff intact
4.- get a QB on via draft or FA.
5.- try to have the same defesive line and improve the cornerback spot

What are your top 5 things?

1. He's already under contract for next year.

2. First round pick on a qb if there's value there.

3. A CB or S in the draft, plus a LB.

4. Absolutely - Saban should insist upon that.

5. Rob Konrad??? How about finding the next Lorenzo Neal?

1-QB

2-QB

3-Secondary

4- O line depth

5 dline depth

6 -linebacker

7-Qb

8-a mentor for Linman in red zone

9-Keep Ricky happy

10- Give Reggie Howard a bus ticket home

1. Keep the current D-Line in tact....resign holliday and the huge guy in the middle

2. Top flight corner in FA or one in the first round if the value is there. We may be able to get by with Poole and Daniels but if we want to get better and become dominant, this is the place to start especially if we keep the line together.

3. Top flight safety in FA or draft

4. restructure booker and keep or sign a guy like Reggie Wayne....not TO....to expensive and attitudinal (is that a word)

5. address the QB position by restructuring Gus and then draft a QB to groom (not necessarily in the 1st round unless a great opportunity presents itself) or sign that guy from the Canadian League....I think he would be worth a shot...Don't want to get off topic but I think we can win with GUs....not that I don't want something better.

6. Add one top offensive lineman to the line....will trust saban on where to add.

i agree with everything but the fullback...fb just really isn't that important.

1) QB.

2) One or 2 more o linemen.

3) Get young on Defense

4) Get a WR.

5) Cut Reggie Howard.

1) Get a good left tackle (preferrably in 1st rd of draft)

2) Get a good center (Bentley)

3) find a good, young, and cheap CB to replace Sam Madison (maybe 2nd round of draft)

4) Find a QB. Cut Frerotte, then resign him to a cap-friendly contract. Pursue all options to upgrade QB position. Just don't reach for a QB like cutler in 1st rd of draft.

5) Make sure Ricky Williams stays in Miami for many years to come.

What are your top 5 things?

Here's mine:

1. Cut the fat off the roster. Demand certain pay cuts.

2. Sign J. Peterson once FA starts. I'm talking 12:01AM

3. Draft QB early. Gus is what he is but we have to find the future.

4. Find 2 OLinemen. Draft or FA. Yes they've improved from '04 but we need road graders. How much damage would our RBs do behind SEA, PIT or KC's lines?

5a. Get at least one big speedy corner. I know, easier said than done but we need one nevertheless.

5b. When everything else is taken care of change the Unis. Hey, since this is a new era change up a little but definitley keep the logo. And please god get rid of those hideous creamsicle jerseys. :D

Ilike but we also need to add a CB, and a safety that is a hitting machine so these wide receivers don't feel comfortable coming across the middle of the field.:beerbang:

Lots of needs:

QB

Offensive Left Tackle

LB

CB/S

DE/NT

WR

The question is, what is addressed in free agency and what is addressed in the draft?

1) Get a QB on the first day of the draft (Cutler, at #15)
2) Get a Saftey on the first day of the draft (Bing, if there in Rd.2)
3) Sign a free agent CB (Lito Shepard is a RFA and is kinda young)
4) SIgn Julian Peterson
5) FA Center (?)
6) Bring big #94 back for one more year, or grab a FA DT.

the uni's

haha, yea i think they are in need of a uni change. my thinkin for one would be

the solid color with the strips from the shoulder pad down the sides, like the canes jerseys.

so far this thread is getting good feedback.

The rob konrad thing was bc he provided good blocking and was a pretty good fb out of the backfield receiving. he hardly ever touched the ball running. but neal is a great example, any quality fullbacks going to the draft?
