MergedX2: Favre says 'there may be something' regarding his arm

i believe there back up is Kellen Clemons........ Does that sound right?

i dont think porter gets a single sack. he has been picked on the past few weeks. i think jones will get a sack and roth will get a sack too. but not joey. anyways. favre needs to quit playing football. he's never gonna get another ring so why play for the jests and mangina?? i dont get it.

Farves shoulder

Yahoo sports reports that Farve does not know if he will be back next year because of his shoulder, I wonder if this is a ploy to make Dolphins think there will be a running game sunday and then farve throws deep, or is the shoulder as bad as he states, what does everyone think?? he has had 6 interceptions recently.:err:

i was almost wondering the same thing. all i know is, miami's d needs to come out and be ready for ANYTHING.

Brett Favre might have a dead arm.

Whether it’s intended to excuse Favre’s mediocrity of late or to save the bacon of coach Eric Mangini and G.M. Mike Tannenbaum is irrelevant; if the media and/or owner Woody Johnson buy it, it could serve all purposes.

“During the course of the year, there was numerous times where I’d been asked about my shoulder and it had been hit a couple of times,” Favre said Wednesday. “I don’t know. I mean, just knowing my body, there may be something, but there’s no test yet to reveal anything.”

This is the best thing that can happen, the Jets have become the Circus with Farve as the ringmaster.

what is really fishy is that like Belicheat et al, Fatgini has a penchant for keeping this kind of info in house

either:

- Favre screwed up royally

- what he said is common knowledge and obvious to those scouting the Jets

- it is mis-information

I think #2

It sounds like he is just looking for an excuse for his poor play.

IMO, he has hit something like the Rookie wall that they refer to, only the Old Geezer wall.

I remember a couple of years ago when he had that horrible season at Green Bay he kind of looked the same. He made bad throws and decisions that made it look like he just didn't want to get hit, like he'd do just about anything NOT to get hit.

I don't think it's a bluff, but at the same time, I would not be surprised if they throw deep on the first series...or first play. Favre's done that countless times in his career. Thomas Jones is likely going to get his yards...I just don't want to see us get beat deep. We cannot allow a repeat of what happened against (gulp) Tyler Pigpen. Even though we won the game, I honestly hope it was a 'wake-up' call for the defense.

Excuses....excuses.......excuses! We don't buy your BS! LETS GO FINS!
