He discusses our potential trade partners, and, unfortunately, that we may be targeting Amari Cooper, which is who I thought we would have been after all along in a trade up (don't want that cat out of the bag). His analysis that the Raiders may not want to trade down because DJ Hayden hasn't worked out for them is a little ridiculous. Teams make bad picks all the time, regardless of what slot they're in.

I don't think anybody could predict this if it does happen. Did anybody predict our trade up for Dion Jordan? Doubt it

Would love cooper but I do not see a scenario where we would trade our valuable picks to move up

I just want one of the top three guys .

I love Coopers route running . I think on 3rd down against man he can create the separation to be a great receiver .

I like Kevin Whites potential , size speed combo but who is to say what he will become exactly .

I like Parker at 14 for the value . Solid receiver with great hands , can make tough catches. Doesn't quote get the separation from crisp routes that Cooper gets but we can grab him at 14 and he'd be solid .

Bottom line .... I want a WR in the first .

I'm all for moving up. This team needs game changers, and you potentially get Suh and Cooper in the same year. Let's do it.

I think White might end up being elite, but that's a big if. He could also never reach his potential. Situation has Dion Jordan written all over it. Truly hope this move would be for Cooper. Otherwise grab Parker or move back for Gurley. Either way, get a game changer.

There was a poster on this board that predicted we would trade up and draft Dion Jordan. I don't remember who it was though. I am sure that thread could be found.

Um....he said Kevin White was the first choice...not Cooper....though I take little of what Jason Cole says very seriously.

No trade up please

100%. If we had only 1 or 2 glaring weakness, I'd have no problem trading up. Not this year and not this current team. I still believe this is a smoke screen or just good poker pre-draft gestures.

cooper rumor been going around for 2 months now

the previous reports (and threads) here regarding a trade up said that it was to target white. no mention of amari cooper. cole says white is the top target but cooper may also be a trade up target. i wasn't thrilled with him speculating on that (if cooper was actually our target), that's why i posted the thread. i didn't mean to imply that anyone said cooper was our first choice.
