Wham! there goes the axe.

McKinney also plays guard, but the Dolphins apparently feel they have enough depth with Justin Smiley, Shawn Murphy, Donald Thomas and Trey Darilek.

This pretty much tells me we will not be looking at anymore guards this offseason. But the realease of Mckinney may mean we may bring in LeCharles Bentley.

Bentley was recently in Lions camp and was about to be signed by the Lions until he demanded too much money, then again, the Lions have little room under the cap so maybe it was just to much for the Lions.
 
You have to make the most of limited opportunities and on a line this thin, it's even more imperative you come in ready to play.
 
I really don't think he was fully recovered from the ACL and as a linemen, it must be brutal for him.
 
Wow... I'm a little surprised here since OL depth is DEFINITELY an issue on this team... Either they have something cooking or he was really THAT bad... Is my guess.
 
I am surprised in the sense that we have such thin depth on the line. However, I am not really that surprised because McKinney really hasn't done much and doesn't seem to be fully recovered from his injury. I bet they will add someone this week on the line.
 
Boon for Matt Spanos, has a better chance of making the team now.

Miami will be playing the Claim Game big time when it comes to OL. Nobody is safe, not even Trey Darilek if enough Joe Bergers come available. They could use Shawn Murphy's latest injury as an excuse to put him on IR, as he does not look ready to play in the pros according to the reports and what I saw in the first PS game.
 
Parcells and company are not kidding around, player had better be healthy and ready to play or they are going to find themselves out of a job.
 
Woah what are we down to 73 men on roster now? We're gonna make a big splash in the coming weeks.
