Parcells on Sportscenter Special

Parcells said he's going to stay in Miami until he feels Sparano and Ireland have everything under control and have enough experience. He also said he IS committed to the Dolphins in 2009. He's staying atleast this upcoming year!
 
He was asked by Trey Wingo if he was fully commmitted to the Dolphins for the 09 season and he said yes. Bill said he would only leave Miami if he felt that the players were in place to win a superbowl. He wanted to support Tony and Jeff and make sure they get as much experience as they can while hes there.

Just went to a commercial but they had the first part of an interview with him:

- Felt like Miami would do well because of the relationship he-Sparano and Ireland had from their days in Dallas

- Is definitely on board through the 2009 regular season and will not leave until he feels Ireland and Sparano are comfortable with all of the aspects of running a team

- Shot down notion of Miami leveling exceptions, as Wingo made a comment about how they went from one win to 11, Parcells said "Well we lost in the first round and we didn't accomplish all that we wanted.

It is back on...

He says he is staying till the teams and Tony and Jeff are at point where they wont need him anymore. And said he is fully committed to the Dolphins in 2009. Great news as the off season fun is about to start.

This may not come as a surprise to most but SILL GREAT NEWS!!!

Should be a very interesting off season.
 
yeah that was cool watching the dolphins fans being all jacked up in the sidelines.
 
Pretty much the ESPN goon asked Tuna about his thoughts on our turnaround and if he planned to stay with us through 2009...Bill summed it up as saying that he was gonna be here until he feels we're on the right path and he's comfortable leaving the team in Jeff and Tony's hands...I sense he's not satisfied with JUST making the playoffs and he's gonna be here for the next 2-3 years...he pretty much said last season was not good enough and it is his intention to bring us the best players possible and we're still impact players away...
 
I didn't see the segment, but from the posts above, it looks like we REALLY can close the door on the whole 30 days things.
 
They are talking about Jake Plummers relationship with Mike Shanahan.. I guess Jake said the Mike Shanahan firing was past due.

Now they are discussing about the Overtime rules and should they be changed?

Bill Parcells says he likes the Overtime rules the way they are.

Yeah i loved when Bill made it known we still got our butts kicked in the playoffs. Basically saying lets not get too happy yet!

I wonder if Plummer is still bitter about his whole Denver experience?
 
Now Trey Wingo, Mike Schlereth, Merrill Hodge and Parcells are talking about whos got the better WR? The Steelers or Cardinals.
