Why do the moderators merge everything? I know it cleans up 40 topics about Ricky Williams, but it also makes it hard for users to get to specific posts.

Morning. Can you imagine how the board would look if we left 40 posts about RW and the exact same subject not merged? :D If you like a certain thread and are interested in seeing the responses, an easy way to do that would be to subscribe to it. Then you'll get email when responses in that thread are posted. :wink: Usually, just replying in a thread is enough to subscribe you to it, but if you find that not to be happening, simply click on the Thread Tools button at the top of the page and hit Subscribe to this Thread. It's that easy. :)
