Merling & Langford Year 2?

What do we have here in two players in Year 2 that have flashed some good plays and then disappeared in others?
Is it to early to think they have not moved forward but have taken a step back when they have been needed at very important times?
Just wondering....why they don`t stand out more?

To me their play depends a lot on the NT. They haven't been getting much help from Soliai. He's improved since last year, but still needs improvement.
And as to Merling and Langford, I think they have progressed, but suffer, as do both lines, from too many substitutions through out games.

All I'm going to say is . . . The DE position is maybe the ONE position where we do not have to worry. We have 4 very capable guys, manning 2 spots.

We don't have to draft a DE for the next 2 or 3 years.
