I'm back in Florida BABY!
Let's see, he's leads the Texans in tackles. The 2 win Texans. Sure, he's got a boat load of money, but, can he really be enjoying himself? We however are far better for him moving on. Channing Crowder has already outperformed anything Greenwood ever did here and I hope that Morlon looks at the standings on a daily basis and see's our 8-7 record and his 2-13 record and slaps himself in the head. Although, i'm sure his bank account makes up for alot. Merry Christmas Morlon and enjoy the Benjamin's, because win's are something you won't see for quite some time in Houston. :dolphins:

I think Morlon Greenwood typified the Wannstedt and Spielman era as much as any player they ever had in Miami. He is at best an average player who seemed to disapear in most games and rarely made a big play, and yet it seemed that Wannstedt and Spielman were reluctant to try to find a replacement for his position. I believe they resigned him twice during contract years. Another example of just not being good enough.

What are you jumping down his back for? Miami didn't try and keep him!

And YES you can enjoy yourself with a boatload of money!!!!:shakeno: :shakeno:

I laughed at the Texans when they gave Todd Wade that rediculous contract, but last year they nearly killed me.

They got rid of Aaron Glenn and Jaimie Sharper in favor of Morlon and Phillip Buchanon

Actually, they did try to keep him. Saban offered him a contract, albiet one that was nowhere near what the Texans offered him.

LMAO!  :sidelol: That is my wholeeeeee POINT!!!!!!!!!!.. Miami didn't try and keep him, well, not "REALLY" they offered him about what he deserved, which wasn't much and thankfully so. Houston overpaid for him and thankfully Nick wasn't going to pay that kind of cash for a player that had absolutely no value to this team. No one I know wanted him here and I as most people I know were as happy to see him go as Wanny and Rick... Good Riddance to him. I'm jumping down his back for leaving an up and coming team and a defense that Zach Thomas himself said was the most fun he's ever been a part of to go to Houston and a 2 win team. Really? You can enjoy yourself with a boatload of money? I think that's a no brainer. That's why I said I hope you're enjoying all that money, because he's certainly not enjoying playing football for that laughingstock of a team...

So what if they offered him what he deserved, the Texans were offering him a lot more and he took it. I would have too, it's just common sense, plus at the time the Texans franchise was sure looking a lot better than ours.

i have no problem with greenwood. Solid yet not spectactular player. Not a playmaker, but a solid NFL player. Didn't cause any trouble while he was here, and he did what any of us would have done. Took the better money and left. More power to the guy.

cannot blame a guy for taking much better money to play elsewhere. If the money was close I'm sure he would have stayed. Its not like our top pick does'nt love money just as much as evidenced by his late signing.

Agree, more power to him. The Texans looked to be a better team that us this year, most people thought they were going to compete for a playoff spot while most had us bottom feeding. Well the games arent played on paper and we turned out better this year but I dont fault the man in any, way, shape, or form. Good for him for getting a boat load of money, he was a solid player here and never gave me any reason to be embarrassed as a fan, hes a decent guy.

Sounds to me like someone is bitter because he took more money instead of being loyal to the team....
