I was vacationing in Katmai National Park last week, taking some photos of the Alaska brown bears when I ran into the Zonk filming his outdoor show...was very cool. Got to talk to him and shake his hand. He had positive things to say about Cam Cameron in the short time we spoke. I didn't bother him for too long, as he was engaged in business.
Very much a highlight of the trip for me...Larry and Dan are my two favorite Fins ever.

Csonk is a total stud and I've heard nothing but good from people who've met him.

He still looks like a mauler in that pic.
I'd have to think twice about who to bet on between him and one of those Brown Bears you're talkin about. :lol:

Excellent picture! I commercial salmon fished for ten years in Bristol Bay, so I know all about those Alaskan brown bears. Very impressive animals to say the least. Sorry to say in all my years as a Miami fan I never saw Zonk play, he was a great player, maybe the best fullback ever.

Didn't have any paper handy, plus I didn't want to bother him any more while he and his guys were trying to get bear footage. I kinda felt guilty just asking him to take the picture with me, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity.
 
Yeah, outstanding picture and all (I say very jealously), but did you get the important inside scoop? You know, what his "Finheaven Alias" is....

J/K. Zonk looks like he hasnt aged a day in the last decade or so. Very cool...very very cool...
 
Nice, I am really jealous. A shot with Zonk, AND a vacation to Katmai! Doesn't get better than that!
 
Thats a great picture, Csonk is an awesome dude and my all-time favorite Dolphin, I finally got to meet him about 15 years ago.
