A Report from the Bergen Record today says the Red Sox's have called about Trachsel, but the Mets don't think they have what they need in return (1st basemen or bullpen help)

Trachsel stinks I'm sorry. He can't help any team or put a team over the top. He might get traded but it won't matter as he won't help anyone win games

I have to disagree, sence his little stint in the minors a way back, he has been the Mets best pitcher on a bad team. He is 40-34 on bad teams over the past 3 years, with an ERA under 4.00.

I think he would help some teams.

In fact, I would rather keep him and lose Zambrano!
