Buff seems to have a very small Dline, there biggest starter is just 295, our avg. Olinemen is 334 and Buff avg Dlinemen is 281, thats an average of 53 lbs per player, maybe thats why NE put up 180 plus yards on the Bills, just something to watch Sunday.

They are undersized, but quick so I would expect a couple of negative plays in the first half. I then expect the O-line to just wear them down in the second half and RB to pop off a couple of big gains.
I would be very disappointed in our team if that is not the case.

ALso hoping for a big game from Ronnie Brown. What ever happened to the Bill's NT Sam Adams?

thats why Buffalo sucks at stopping the run, until they get bigger they will continue to suck

You see, Pittsnurgh was a team to start the game to continue to quick pass and let your talented receivers make runs after the catch , they will stuff your run early. Better to run on them in the 2nd half

Now Buffalo is a team you just run and run on and wear the heck out of em starting early.. Two different teams, two different approaches.. Miami is going to mow that D-line down hard..

He's in Cincinatti. Cincinatti has a pretty damn good defense with the additions of Brooks at Safety and Sam Adams at NT.

Buffalo has a fast d-line though....I would give it to RB 25+ times, and then drop a few long bombs to CC and Welker.

Run right at schoebel. Schoebel is good and is very productive but let him go outside and run right inside his ars. TD!

Another thing is that Spikes will not play or wont be as effective if he does. There will be no big defensive play made by them other than a sack (hope Daunte hangs on to the ball). Spikes not playing is huge. It significantly downgrades their defense to a young, inexperienced one with no leaders, now that TV is also gone.

We certainly looked awful at times last week stopping the run. But the holes for Maroney and Dillon were not even holes, more like huge open areas with no Bills in sight.

Part of that seemed to be players not in the right place, some missed tackles, and major holding that was not called by the refs. I am crossing my fingers that some of this is new players in a new scheme and not an indictment of the talent on our line.

It will be interesting to see if we can improve in this area as this was the primary reason we lost last week. Throughout the pre-season our D seemed to be good against the run and bad against the pass. This reversed itself last week. I can only guess what our D looks like this week since I haven't really got a handle on how good or bad we are yet.

:tantrum: Damn those Pats and their cheating refs. Look on the bright side at least they didn't cheat you out of a shot at the SB by making up rules and snow plowing for GW'ing FG's.

I have realistic expectations, and I feel that the Fins should have a good game, but I also expect Jauron to have his defense come to play. With highs around 88 and it expected to be VERY humid on sunday, where as the hottest it will get in the next 10 days in Buffalo is 74. I feel that the heat and humidity of south Florida can wear out the big guys quick, especially if they are getting put on their ***** on a regular basis.

And this, Nick, is why you don't really understanbd football yet.... different D schemes have different prototype players.....

TB's DL is an avarage of 282

Chicagos DL is an average of 279

Some D's use size and space eaters, some D's use quickness and attacking.... it all depends on what you're running.....

besides, you won't be run blocking much playing from behind.

Yep, and that speed defense did pretty good against an OLD Dillon and a hurt Rookie, with a watered down O-line.:sidelol:

I certainly dont think you are comparing your defense to either Tampa (Who also got thier hats handed to them in week 1) or Chicago. Both have something you dont, talent and experience.:tantrum:

We will see what happens on Sunday smart guy..... we will see.

That may help us in run blocking, but it could also kill us in the pass blocking. Those guys are quick and they tend to get into the back field later in the game when our front seven starts wearing down.
