Ive got a terrible feeling about this game.
Regardless of whether Ben is playing or not, since when does a team go into the Super Bowl Champs' home in week 1 and have vegas consider them favorites???

I sure hope people don't let this go to their head because Pittsburgh still have alot of weapons.

The fins being favored isn't that far fetched...While the Steelers are the Super bowl champs...their #1 WR is Questionable...their #2 WR from the super bowl run is in Washington...their #1 RB/team inspiration is in a suit...and now their #1 QB is out...and their ONLY QB on roster is Charlie Batch?!?!?!

Their Defense is still really good, but Vegas having their money on the Fins is to be expected.

Kimo Von Olehoffen was great also and is not on their team...

But, eventhough Pittsburgh is been favored by 4.5 points, not Miami by 1.5!!!

Just because 1 line favor us, doesnt mean that all the books are favoring us, eventhough all of the other books are currently closed...

Not all the books move that fast on a Holiday Sunday night...If they are still favoring pitt by 4.5 you may want to throw some money down...by tuesday I bet they will all swing to much closer to even...

At 6:56 pm. the LVSC line movement showed Miami a 1.5 point favorite vs against Pittsburgh on Thursday. :dolphins:

Pittsburgh started out a 5.5 point favorite on July 13. The point spread has been falling since. The biggest fall was this evening after the Ben Roethlisberger story broke.

Here is the link to all the lines:

THIS IS SABAN'S TEAM AND WE WILL NOT BE OVERCONFIDENT......WITH OR WITHOUT BIG BEN. THEY ARE STILL THE CHAMPS......

Yes, it seems that you are right..., all the updates that the books did at that same time was to close the line for exemption of the LVSC line that favored us by 1.5 and is the only one currently open...

It doesn't matter what the "people" think as long as the Dolphins players don't get overconfident. They need to stay focused and never let up!

This is a great opportunity to make a statement to the rest of the league. They just need to go out and do it!

I'm sure Saban will have them prepared and ready to kick the SB Champions butts!!

Vegas has officially taken the Miami vs. Pittsburgh game off the board. The LVSC line movement is showing us that Miami is coming out as the favorite.

Pittsburg isn't his team. SB champs and Dogs at home on opening night? The problem with this line isn't miami being over confident. Its Pittsburg having a chip on their shoulder at this lack of respect in the eyes of the public.

Miami is going to get Pittsburg best come Thursday night. Count on it...
