Fins have 44 seahawks have 45...impressive considering its Sabans first year implementing a new D.

I was lookin at the stats earlier and noticed we have a lot of sacks, thing is we dont have one person with a huge number of them.. for the most part they are spread out

Jt is number 6 in the league in sacks (11) and leads the top 25 on the sack list in tackles (69)....including strahan.

Yeah. Jason Taylor has 11 sacks. David Bowens and Kevin Carter are the next highest guys with 5 sacks a piece. Vonnie Holiday has 4 sacks. Several players have 2 sacks.
 
I'm really surprised that the Seahawks are leading the league. I like Bryce Fischer, he was a nice signing.....but leading the league in sacks?? I would have never guessed.

true, and teams are always trailing and trying to catch up.....but still, they were always lacking a pass rush......just surprising.
 
yeah next year it's gonna be a lights out season. Our front 7 play amazing football and are among some of the best in the league. We just need to strengthen up the secondary a little and it's gonna be crazy.

They're 12-2 for a reason. They've come around on defense. Who knows, they could hand Indi its second straight loss if they're able to get to Manning this week. I think it's a possible Super Bowl preview.
 
If JT and ZT don't make the pro bowl... I am going to be P!$$3D!!! These 2 are just FRICKEN monsters on "D"!!!

I am glad to see that the sacks are spread around as it means that the "D" is hard to read and they are disguising things well... I say we get a couple of fresh bodies in on secondary and this "D" will be in the top 3, if not #1 next year!

Our D has always been strong. The only thing that worries me is the stamina of our veterans. They always seem to get winded after a while. Our offense doesn't help matters with its occasional 3 and outs, as well. Thankfully, the D has stepped it up recently when we needed them to. The D did one hell of a job in its last defensive stand. The Jets had FOUR chances to win the game inside our 15-yd line, and did a nice job of not allowing them to score in the closing stages of the game.
 
We do lead the league in sack yards lost. :)

We have 350, Colts are second with 296.
