Miami 2020 Defense by the Numbers

Why can't we sustain the rate of forced turn overs? Maybe thats just what we do

Perhaps we can.

I've seen it suggested that regression to mean is more likely, and agree as a general principle, but it may not apply here.

After reading your post, I took a look at the stat for the last few years.

Even though we did lead the league, it was less than league leaders of the recent past.

Granted, it may be difficult for X to duplicate his INT total, but if others step up, there's no reason we can't post a similar showing overall.
 
Well if Jones learn how to catch a few passes then we could still have the same total of INT's as last year. Adding Holland might help there too. Also, a better pass rush/sacks would help our defense get more 3 and out's. It hard to see the other QB have all day to pass back there.
 
Our defense towards the end of the year showed we still have a lot of work to do.
