Miami Acquires Brazilian Dl Durval Queiroz Neto Via International Program

The pro day report said he measured 6'3" and weighed 308 so not sure why he's listed as 6'4" 325 unless that's what his Brazil team had him listed as being. He ran a 5.0 second 40 yard dash.

Hey, how about a Japenese Sumo wrestler at center or a Jamaican sprinter at kick returner?

Just kidding.

If this guy is a fast learner and shows effective athletic dexterity in detouring a rusher away from the passer, then why not give him a go?

Remember the Jamaican Bobsleders!

USF once recruited a Sumo champion. Not even a Japanese guy.

Unfortunately various academic and other stuff prevented him getting on the field much. He looked good, too.

I read somewhere that he can be stashed on the P squad with an exemption so he wont count. Basically an 11th man on the Squad. Gives us the time to look at him and see if he can be effective without it affecting the player numbers.

Should be extremely good at slapping away the hands of an opposing offensive lineman. I'm intrigued...
