Eight teams drew more than 1.1 million paid attendance home and away during the regular season, led by Washington (1,240,223). The others were: New York Jets (1,197,224), Kansas City (1,177,580), New York Giants (1,152,672), Denver (1,147,265), New England (1,146,847), San Diego (1,108,840), and Miami (1,105,023).

Of those eight teams, Washington, NYJ, NYG and KC topped 600,000 in home attendance. Indicating that Denver, New England, San Diego and Miami stand out for their road attendance.

While Dolphin fans are often criticized for their poor attendance for home games.....this info indicates that we are among the most well represented away teams out there.

I bet we are louder and in our seats by gametime too.

Miami has a national following. I have travelled all over the country and caught a number of away games and there are always Phins fans everywhere I go. I was in a Sporting Goods store in Boise, Idaho once and an entire family of locals strolled in wearing Phins garb. On the televised away games, you can see them in the stands.

Yep, I see them anytime they play around here. Gonna be two games this year. :D

Already got my tickets to the Preseason game here in Tampa. Well, not physically, but my boss is a Bucs Season ticket holder and always gives me his tickets when the Fins come here to play. I've already confirmed that I get them again for that game.

I just wish I could go to more home games. I traveled from South Dakota to Miami last year for the first time ever to watch the fins. It was the game that got moved to Friday night because of the hurricane threat. Hardly anybody in the stands and the Chiefs won. It was disappointing but I was still pumped to be able to watch my beloved Dolphins at home.
