They are down to four finalists, two of which were interviewed today. The GM search has been fairly paced.

Likely that outsiders will never know the exact discussions that took place. That's why I tend not to get outraged and fly off the handle with every "snippet" that's out there.

I don't have the necessary information to make concrete conclusions for why the finalists are who they are. Nobody does.

But, it has been difficult being a Dolphins, a minor issue. Haven’t been to a Super Bowl in 41 years. Haven’t won a playoff game in 25 years. 7 playoff appearances since 2000. Failed head coach after failed head coach. Failed GM after failed GM.

Back on topic, we'll probably never be able to be certain if Ross contacted Harbaugh before McD was fired.

I will always suspect there was some communication no matter how unofficial.
