Miami at Kansas City Preview
put all your preview links and comments here - please. This should help make those of you worried about CC's #s feel better
Anything less than 100 yards and a score would shock us.

Ok, let's look at KC vs Phins Stats wise.

Miami ppg 33.3 rank #3

Rushing O

Kansas City ypg 185.0 rank #2

Miami ypg 292.7 rank #10

Pts per game allowed
Kansas City 34.3 rank #29
Miami 12.3 rank #3

Defense is where we have the advantage..but our D is going up against one the permire O's in the league as well...Hopefully our D gets more stops than their D..Now I see what the Pats were facing..

all i can say besides "we got the win already" is "run ricky run" thats it.

williams is going to own holmes.

I'm sorry but I see, Chiefs 31 - Dolphins 24.
:D Hope i'm wrong.

let us not forget recent history...

10/31/93 -- at Miami 30, Kansas City 10
12/12/94 -- at Miami 45, Kansas City 28
12/31/94 -- *at Miami 27, Kansas City 17
12/11/95 -- at Miami 13, Kansas City 6
10/05/97 -- at Miami 17, Kansas City 14

and though we have not won at KC since 09/17/72 -- Miami 20, at Kansas City 10, I think it is time for a 30 year anniversary celeration of that win. But seriously :jetssuck:

Don't get me wrong
I :hail: the Dolphins
I hope I'm wrong
But I have a bad feeling about this game:(
:hitself: I hope I'm wrong and we win by 30

Re: let us not forget recent history...

What Im seeing in this game is the battle of who catches the ball better between TE's and RB's.

The stats seem to indicate that the Dolphins have an advantage with the passing game. I would expect both teams want to keep the other's offense on the bench which would mean running and short passes. Even with that strategy both teams score alot of points. I expect a high scoring game and a Dolphin win with the better D, if we don't turn the ball over.

What year was the showdown between Marino and Montana where Stoyanavich kicked a 50+ yard feild goal to win it?
