Miami beats bears next week...

There would be a very good chance miami gets back to no.2 spot in afc east again. I felt the jets are a decent team, but not as good as record showed and reality would hit them soon enough like it did vs patriots. Guess who the jets are playing next week..... yep it's the Bills. Obviously any team can beat the other in the nfl. The jets are so one dimensional tho and I do feel Bills will beat them. So miami keeps winning things will sort itself out with other teams losing in the process. I also feel if miami has Tua, they are beating jets next time they meet. Go fins
 
Agree, Jets are better than last year. But they are getting well below average play from their quarterback, Wilson. If that continues, with their schedule getting more difficult, they will quickly fall out of the playoff race.

You're absolutely right. Miami needs to take care of business and this is the time of year to put it into gear. Get the run game going ( we are seeing signs there), limit those penalties and mistakes, and there are winnable games the next couple of weeks.

Beyond that, let's hope the Dolphins stay relatively injury free.

I wish miami benched edmonds, he seems to kill drives. I hope miami tries something before FA deadline ends tho. Need another good rb other than mostert. Mosterts had injury issues so need a good back up. Thought edmonds would be the guy but he hasn't been doing well. Yeah those penalties have killed drives. Just thinking of how much more dangerous miami's offense could be with less penalties. Miami had a ton of penalties this game but still scored 31 pts. You know what's funny is how other qbs would be seen as good and Tua overlooked when you think of Tua winning with the talent he didn't have last year and difference he makes on the offense and team. Teddy and Skylar had the same wrs but couldn't put it together. It's because Tua is a franchise qb and difference maker.

For instance, I always felt Dak prescott is overrated. He's a pretty good qb, but imo Tua is better. I know a ton of Cowboys fans. Cowboys won 49-29, But look at Dak's record with the running game. Pollard ran all over the bears and the wins not just from rush but dak come when they get atleast 100 yards rushing. I believe dak has a bad record vs good teams and not so good when his rb has less than 100 rushing yards in the game. Since Tua's career for dolphins, how often did he have rb get 100 yards rushing let alone not be pathetic? This is first season mostert has been doing fairly well, but haven't gotten to that 100 yard rushing game. Yet Tua keeps winning and carried team on his shoulder passing it up. You'd be surprised how many good qbs are different qbs when they don't get the support of running game and lose games. Isn't Tua 11-2 last 13 games or something? We any of those games where Tua had the rb with 100 rushing yards? That's a sign of a franchise qb to me. Just think how dangerous Tua and offense tho could be if get a good ground attack and where can get 100 yards rushing by the rb or rbs

I’d say the Jets are a better offense with Breece Hall than without. Zack still isn’t ready to carry that team without a strong running game to support him. Defense still looks improved it I think the offense takes a step back the rest of the year.

yep, I mean miami has played good running teams and have done well defending against it, so I think they can do it. Patriots have a good running game. Other then this game, it seems like miami's defense probably energized when Tua is in. So I think miami can limit the bears run game. No game will be easy but they can do it. Need guy's back bad tho. I'm hoping more wins and how big that would be to get them before the bye week. Getting a win streak and then getting healthier from needed rest at the bye week would be huge to carry the next surge after bye week
 
The stinking Jets also lost Vera-Tucker, their best OLineman, the same time as losing Hall. I'm still pissed about losing to them, but it was a Tua-less game. Can't wait for the rematch.
 
I really thought Miami had enough to take the East this year, but unfortunately with Tua missing those 2 & 1/2 games, Miami lost 3, and has made it almost impossible to now over take the Bills, unless they lose one of the remaining games, maybe Pats, Vikings, or Bengals...And we do the impossible and sweep the Bills by beating them in Buffalo.

Seems grim to believe we still have a chance, but so exciting to try to still get the #1 Seating in the playoffs, and an early bye to heal up before starting playoffs.
 
Stomp them on the field then when they realize they are done this year trade a 2 and a 4 with gesicki for roquan smith,Eddie jackson and Montgomery

Get in the playoffs. A bye week is nice but it’s a bonus. A late bye week Here tho helps. Just gotta keep winging then can rest up and get late season surge to finish our season and get wc spot and it’s Anyones game if miami gets in. I think Miami could be dangerous if they get in the playoffs. Just get in first then worry about how far Miami could go from there

Gotta slow run game . Bears are looking better and fields is doing better. But bears are not an offensive juggernaut if run game is limited. Justin fields had a whopping 151 yards passing vs cowboys. Part of the pts too was the big lead cowboys had early where they relaxed a little on defense which can happens with big leads. I think lions offense is more talented. Fields accuracy is still erratic tho he’s a great athlete. Can’t let him scramble all over us tho
